Honey

Our bees pollinate our trees, flowers and vegetables while collecting necatar to make honey. Throughout the summer, we collect the pollen that falls off their legs when they enter their hives, and at the end of the summer we collect their surplus honey.

2022 will be our first year raising our own queens so wish us luck!

Bees are critical to our enviromnent so please join us in abstaining from using pesticides or chemicals that could harm them.

Poultry

Our geese, ducks, turkeys and chickens are always group housed and live outdoors for as much of the year as possible. By living outside they can fertilize our fields, eat fresh greenery and naturally reduce the insects on our property by eating them.

Eggs

Our layer birds are also always group housed and live outdoors for as much of the year as possible. We never use battery cages so that they can walk around and act like normal birds.

Pork

For most of the year, our pigs live outside in a mix of wood and field, but in the coldest months, they move up to the barn where they have free access to shelter, the outdoors and heated water.
